A Sweetheart of a Proposal
Before you know it, Valentine’s Day will be here — the most romantic day of the year. It’s the perfect time to propose to your sweetheart. With all the love in the air, it is no wonder that many nervous grooms-to-be pop the question on Valentine’s Day. Cupid’s arrow will surely guarantee them an emphatic “Yes!”

Valentine’s Day Proposal Ideas
There is no right or wrong way to propose. Just by proposing on Valentine’s Day, you are guaranteed a certain amount of romance but there are many ways to make the proposal extra special. Here are just a few:
Propose by slipping her engagement ring into a heart shaped box of chocolates. There is no sweeter gesture. You can even have the chocolates decorated to say “Will You Marry Me?”
Restaurant proposals are hugely popular on Valentine’s Day. Don’t put the ring in any food dishes but do ask the staff for help. You can be assured it isn’t the first time they have been asked to participate in such a grand gesture. Have your proposal printed on the daily specials or spelled out in chocolate syrup across the dessert plate. Have a custom fortune cookie message printed for a surprising end to a romantic dinner. You can then offer wedding fortune cookies at your reception as the favor and another chance to tell your engagement story!
Write down your own love story that will put her romance novels to shame. You can create a simple scrapbook or photo album documenting your dating life so far. The last page can simple ask “Will you marry me?” Or write her a short story or children’s book where the prince and the princess live happily ever after. Autograph the book for her with a flourish and a proposal.
No matter how you propose, just by asking for her hand in marriage on Valentine’s Day is guaranteed to get you a “Yes!”
